In 2019, Billy Tea Safaris was awarded Eco-Tourism Hall of Fame from Eco-Tourism Australia. This recognises tour operators who have been committed to ecologically sustainable tourism, fostering environmental and cultural understanding, appreciation and conservation for other 20 years.

ROC Certified (Respecting Our Culture)

The Respecting Our Culture (ROC) program encourages the tourism industry to operate in ways that respect and reinforce Indigenous cultural heritage and the living cultures of Indigenous communities.
