Locally owned and operated from Cairns, we've spent more than 40 years sharing the incredible landscapes, wildlife and stories that make this region one of Australia's most remarkable destinations.

Our Story
Billy Tea Safaris began in 1983 with a simple goal: to provide authentic, small-group adventures that connect visitors with the extraordinary landscapes, wildlife and stories of Tropical North Queensland.
As one of the original operators conducting tours to the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation, we've had the privilege of introducing generations of travellers to this remarkable region. From the early days of rainforest touring to today's eco-certified experiences, our passion for sharing the natural beauty, rich history and unique character of Far North Queensland has remained unchanged.
