Day 1: Rainforest, Cape Trib & Bloomfield Track


As the Tablelands Tour is seasonal and not currently available, this combo package is unavailable for bookings at this time. However, our Daintree Tour is available to book separately! 

Billy Tea Safaris operates small personalised Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation tours, where the rainforest meets the reef! On this full day rainforest tour from Cairns, you will explore all the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation region has to offer. As one of the only tour companies to travel on the Bloomfield Track, your experience will be like no other!

Sit back and relax in comfort in our custom-built 4WD air-conditioned vehicles while listening to informative and entertaining commentary by your local naturalist guide who has extensive knowledge of flora, fauna, history of the area and aboriginal culture. Learn all about the oldest rainforest in the world, the Daintree. Your day will be a memory of a lifetime!

Day 2: Best of the Cairns Tablelands


This is a seasonal tour and unavailable for bookings at this time.

Experience the best of the Cairns Tablelands region with Billy Tea Safaris day tours; exploring the high-country west of the city; sampling local produce and meeting local characters along the way.

Travel 500 metres above sea-level and drive out of the rainforest and on to visit multi-cultural village of Mareeba and award-winning Coffee Works for an introduction to Australia’s largest coffee-growing region. Continue on through the banana plantations, sugar cane, and through the townships of Tolga and Atherton on route to Historic Village Herberton, voted on Trip Advisor as one of the top 10 museums to visit Australia! Billy Tea Safari's is the only group tour that includes Admission to Historic Village Herberton. After exploring, you'll enjoy a selection of local tropical fruits and cheese tasting.

Continuing on Queensland’s highest scenic drive with epic views of the Tablelands and the Great Dividing Range, you'll stop at a scenic lookout and also the iconic Millaa Millaa falls for an iconic photo opportunity (and a swim if you wish!). Enjoy lunch at the Australian Platypus Centre, where you might be lucky enough to spot a platypus!

Walk into the rainforest to view one of Australia’s oldest trees, The Curtain Fig Tree; standing at 500 years old and finish the day at The Humpy Store to purchase local produce such as nuts, fruit and much more!
