Day 1 - Cairns - Cape York (LD)

Day 2 - Cape York - (Opt) Thursday Island (BD)
An optional tour to Thursday and Horn Islands is recommended with Peddells Ferry Service which has an excellent reputation. Other options perhap, could be a fishing trip, a possible joy flight over the Torres Stari Island or just laze about on the beach.
Day 3 - Cape York - Bramwell Station (BLD)
A splendid day of contrasts and sheer natural beauty are today's highlights. We leave the settlement of Bamaga, ferry the Jardine River and spend time at the jewel of the peninsula, Twin Falls. We then follow the Original Telegraph Track to Cockatoo Creek, drive through Heathlands National Reserve and arrive at Bramwell Station in time for a hearty country dinner and wonderful bush hospitality.
Day 4 - Bramwell Station - Weipa(BLD)
The mining complex of Weipa is our destination by lunch time. This evening we stay in quality rooms and enjoy an a la carte dinner, the best menu of the journey. Unwind by the pool or do a little souvenir shopping during this afternoon's free time.
Day 5 - Weipa - Coen (B/L/D)
An optional Bauxite and lifestyle tour is highly recommended this morning, the comprehensive tour is conducted by a Weipa resident with an emphasis on the mines, the people and the environment. After lunch we drive to the frontier town of Coen and stay at the local hotel and experience the colour of this quaint little town.
Day 6 - Coen - Cooktown (B/L/D)
Our first pause this morning is at Musgrave Telegraph Station then we turn east and enter the vast expanses of Lakefield National Park, an absolute wildlife haven. We expect to see crocodiles in their natural habitat. A huge array of birds abounds within the park, billabongs and waterholes are aplenty. The ruins of Old Laura is testimony to the hardships endured by our pioneers. We then cross the Battlecamp Range and arrive in Cooktown late afternoon.
Day 7 - Cooktown - Mungumby Lodge (B/L/D)

Another exciting and rewarding day as we skirt Cedar Bay National Park and enter the internationally recognised World Heritage areas of the Greater Daintree National Park and its unique rainforest jungles. Another highlight is Cape Tribulation where the 'Rainforest meets the Reef'. Finally, we drive the scenic coastal road back to Cairns to your pre-arranged accommodation somewhat wiser and refreshed form your Cape York 'Soft' Adventure .
