“Great experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 July 2011 NEW

Our travel agent suggested this tour and I was a bit unsure thinking I could have done it on my own, but I was so glad I booked it. The previous day I had taken a tour that shuffled me and my cousin from place to place. We had been given stickers to place on ourselves so we could be herded into group. Not this tour! It was small and personalized. Our guide Matthew was wonderful. He was funny, informative, and knew exactly when to stop talking and let us enjoy the view and the experience. It was a lot of driving for one day and he was excellent on the road. I loved the fruit tasting, and was amazing at how hard the guides worked. They even did the BBQ lunch. The guide seemed to enjoy his work, and spent extra time answering questions. We were a small group so it was easier to ask question and spend more time looking and things of interest. I would highly recommend this tour.

Fabulous rainforest safari”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2011

We went on a full day trip to the Daintree and to Cape Tribulation with Billy Tea Safaris in Cairns Qld. It was a wonderful experience with a variety of activities included and the fact that you are part of a small group ( 12 people in a large4WD) was a bonus. The driver was very entertaining and delivered informative dialogue throughout the day. A boat ride across the Daintree river gave opportunity to see crocodiles, next a chance to feed wallabies,a BBQ lunch and a visit to Cape Tribulation and ending the day with a swim in a crystal clear creek and an afternoon tea made up of unusual fruits, damper and of course a cup of billy tea ensured that this was a memorable day.

“thanks for dusting off Chocko - he made our day!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 July 2011

We had a great trip with Chocko! He has such an incredible knowledge of all things scientific and his passion for the area draws you in! Guides like this are the reason for doing this sort of trip. It would be easy and much (!!) cheaper to drive yourself, but it is the local insight and passion that you pay for. We also had the pleasure of Neville's company on the river cruise. His eagle eyes spotted wild life we would never normally see and again, his passion for what he does shone through. Food was great too!
