The Chillagoe Caves and Outback in a day tour is looking spectacular after the summer rains and now coming into our cooler winter months, there are more migratory birds arriving at the Mareeba Wetlands such as Black Swan, Whistling Ducks, Australian Wood Duck, Cotton Pygmy Goose, various Egrets. There are still many species of bush birds about like the Pacific Bazza, Squatter Pigeon, Black Throated Finch, Chestnut breasted Manikins, Blue-Winged Kookaburras, Wedge Tail Eagles, also been seeing a few Frilled Neck Lizards, also Eastern Grey Kangaroos, and Pretty Faced Wallabies.
