Daintree Cape Tribulation 4wd Bloomfield Track Day Tour

What time does the tour start and end?
Pickups from the Southside Accommodation 6.50 am, Cairns CBD is 7.00 – 7.15am, Northern Beaches 7.20 – 7.45am, Port Douglas are at 8.20am. Returning time Port Douglas at approx 5.00 – 5.30pm, Northern Beaches 6.00pm, Cairns City 6.30pm. Please note all times are approximate.

How many people will be in the vehicle?
Our vehicles take 13, 14 & 16 passengers only. Small personalised numbers.

Can we do a private charter?
Private charters are available with personalised itineraries and price on application.

What do I need to take?
Please take Hat, Sunscreen, Camera, extra batteries & memory cards Water bottle, Towel, Swimming Costume, insect repellent, extra cash for cold drinks, souvenirs or an ice-cream.

What do I wear?
Comfortable clothes as you are in the tropics, our winter you may wish to take a light coat. Flat comfortable shoes or sandals. Preferable no thongs, and ladies no high heels as there is uneven ground and you will be in the rainforest.

What does Billy Tea provide?
We provide Morning Tea, which is a Tea / Coffee and Biscuits at the Cruise Centre, Guided walks, Custom built 4WD vehicles, experienced accredited guides, delicious BBQ Lunch, Tropical Exotic Fruits and Billy Tea and Damper and a complimentary glass of wine. If the weather is wet we also provide Rain Ponchos. Itineraries may be changed or run in reverse at the discretion of Billy Tea Safaris.

What if I have dietary requirements?
All dietary requirements must be notified at time of reservation, we can cater for vegetarians and most other requirements within reason.

Where do we go?
We visit the Majestic Daintree River for an informative 1 hour river cruise. Alexandra Lookout, one of the many Rainforest elevated boardwalks (we have permits to all walks in the Daintree / Cape Tribulation) so depending on the day as to where we go. Lync Haven animal sanctuary to hand feed kangaroos see other wildlife and also enjoy the rainforest setting restaurant for our Gourmet BBQ Lunch. Then past Cape Tribulation Beach onto the 4WD Bloomfield Track to Emmagen Creek, to enjoy a refreshing freshwater swim and tropical fruits. From here to Cape Tribulation Beach for a walk on the beach out to the viewing platform or a swim (seasonal). From here to the Daintree ice-creamery and then over the Daintree River via Cable Ferry for the homeward journey.

Is the tour wheelchair / disabled friendly?
We can only take passengers that are able to get themselves up the steps in the vehicle or have a carer to help them. They must be able to take walking steps by themselves or with the aid of their own carer. Their wheelchairs must be small compact collapsible chairs as space is limited. There are also steps and uneven ground on the National Park Boardwalks and into Emmagen Creek. The vehicles aren’t designed for disabled passengers, due to the remoteness and ruggedness of the areas visited. Billy Tea Staff are unable to assist with any lifting or assistance due to insurance liability and not authorised carer. Billy Tea Safaris will assist where possible.
